  • Men sing on the bench in the middle of the room
  • Women dance around singers in a circle, using the "side-step shuffle" style of dancing
  • Men dance around women in a single file circle, using "fish" style of dancing.
  • Dance to beat, when the beat changes, the men snatch (fishes) women from centre circle, lead dancer sings "Standing Quiver" type songs for a few verses and then at the end of song women go back to centre circle continuing on
  • Towards the end the dance turns into a stomp dance and the men singing in the middle benches, discontinue singing and join the dancing
